Who sells?

The commercial relationship between SIDRERÍA GAZTAÑAGA S.L. (Sidrería Gaztañaga) and the customer shall be governed solely by the general conditions set out herein, in their original version and at the time the order is placed.

Who can buy?

Purchases through this website are reserved for users who are natural persons of legal age.

Sidrería Gaztañaga reserves the right not to attend to orders placed by users who differ from the classification of end consumer described above.

Products for sale

At www.gaztañaga.eus you can find products and derivatives of the Basque cider sector and producers of natural cider with their corresponding RE.

The offer of Sidreria Gaztañaga is divided into 3 options: online cider shop with the sale of bottles, table reservations for the cider house and guided tours.

Each product is accompanied by a detailed description of its main characteristics. Although Sidreria Gaztañaga takes the utmost care in the reproduction of its products, the images and colours of the products offered for sale may not, however, faithfully reflect reality, due to the specific characteristics of the Internet browser or screen used by the user.

Price of the products on sale

The prices of the products on sale are determined in euros and include the corresponding VAT.

1. As far as the sale of cider online is concerned, the relevant shipping costs will have to be added to these prices, which will be communicated to the User before placing the order, and must be expressly accepted by the User when confirming the purchase.

Shipping costs will depend on the number of boxes purchased and the destination. These prices are indicated in the SHOP section of gaztañaga.eus. Shipping costs are free from the fifth box onwards.

The prices may be updated at any time by Sidreria Gaztañaga, however, the prices applicable to each order will be those in force at the time the user confirms the purchase of the products being purchased.

2. In the case of online bookings at Sidreria Gaztañaga, the user must pay an advance payment in order to block a place. This advance payment will be deducted on the day of the reservation at the cider house itself.

3. As far as the excursions are concerned, the final price of the activity includes VAT and is sold directly with full payment at the time of booking..

Formalisation of the order of the products by the user

In order to conclude the purchase of the products, the user must follow the steps established in the purchase process; provide the data requested for this purpose; expressly accept these conditions of sale at the time of proceeding to the formalisation of the same by confirming the order and proceed to full payment of the same at the same time of confirmation.

Said data will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy stated on this website.

The purchase contract will be understood to be formalised and perfected by Sidrería Gaztañaga at the moment of effective receipt of payment of the full price.

Sidrería Gaztañaga may not process orders when they are incorrect, incomplete, when payment has not been received within 48 hours of the order being placed, in the event of unavailability of one or more products. The user will be informed by e-mail or telephone of the non-processing of his order and the reasons for the non-processing.

Once the order has been placed and paid for in full, the user will receive, within 24 hours, an e-mail confirmation of the order detailing the order number, the products purchased and their prices, the shipping costs, the chosen method of payment, the shipping address and the other contractual details of the transaction.

The user may only cancel their order before the goods have left the Sidrería Gaztañaga warehouses.

Cancellation and modification of cider house and guided activity bookings

• Cancellations:

Reservations and excursions cancelled up to 24 hours before (before 12:00) the booked day will be refunded the amount paid. Reservations cancelled less than 23 hours before the booked day will not be refunded the deposit or the amount paid.

• Modifications:

Necessary modifications may be made to cider house and excursion bookings as long as they are made before 24 hours of the day booked, taking into account the availability of the cider house. In these cases:

• If there is an increase in the number of diners, the corresponding deposit will be paid. If the number of diners decreases, the corresponding deposit will be returned.
• If you wish to make any other modification in the 24 hours prior to the reserved day, you must do so directly from the voucher received or by contacting Sidrería Gaztañaga on 943 59 19 68 or info@sidreriagaztanaga.com.

Delivery of the ordered products

Deliveries to the customer’s home

The delivery period in Spain is 1 – 3 working days from the date the order is placed, except during promotional and holiday periods (long weekends, bank holidays, Easter and Christmas) when this period may be increased to a maximum of 10 working days due to the volume of orders and transport.

Sidrería Gaztañaga will deliver the products to the address indicated by the user on the order form, which must in any case be within the territory indicated in clause 2 of these conditions of sale.

Delivery shall be deemed to have taken place from the moment in which the transport company places the product at the user’s disposal.

If the package has not been delivered for reasons attributable to the user within the period of 10 working days following delivery, the package will be returned to Sidrería Gaztañaga at the user’s expense, at the user’s expense, the shipping costs and the cost of returning the goods to their place of origin, as well as any associated management costs.

Right of withdrawal

The user may withdraw from the sales contract without penalty and without stating the reasons within a period of 7 calendar days from the day of receipt of the products purchased, by informing Sidrería Gaztañaga of their decision to exercise their right of withdrawal by sending a letter/email to our address info@sidreriagaztanaga.com.

The cost of returning the product shall be borne by the user, except in the case of defective, incorrect or erroneous products, in which case Sidrería Gaztañaga shall bear the cost.

In order for the product on which the right of withdrawal is exercised to be accepted, it must be correctly protected, in its original packaging, in perfect condition for its subsequent sale and conserving its labelling, and a copy of the delivery note must be included inside the package, where the returned products are marked.

The reimbursement of the price of any payment received from the user for the returned product, including delivery costs, will be made, without undue delay, by the same means of payment used to pay for the product and within a maximum period of 14 calendar days after the user has been informed of the decision to cancel.

Sidrería Gaztañaga may withhold the refund until it has received the products or until the user has provided proof of the return of the goods, depending on which condition is met first, provided that Sidrería Gaztañaga has offered to collect the products.

If the return could not be accepted due to non-compliance with the aforementioned conditions, the user will not be entitled to receive a refund of the amounts corresponding to the returned products, but will be entitled to have the non-compliant products returned to him/her, assuming the shipping costs.

Products guarantee

Sidrería Gaztañaga guarantees the products purchased on its website for a period of 18 months.

The guarantee does not include deficiencies caused by negligence, knocks, improper use or handling.

To make use of the guarantee, the customer must contact the Sidrería Gaztañaga Customer Service Department directly: 943 59 19 68.

Applicable law and dispute resolution

The General Terms and Conditions of Sale set out herein are subject to Spanish law.

In the event of a dispute over the interpretation, execution or validity of these general terms and conditions of sale, the courts of the place of residence of the consumer shall have jurisdiction.
